Algoholics is a journey into the heart of algorithmic mastery, inspired by the words of Kristian Vistrup Madsen: "Programming is not about typing, it's about thinking, and algorithms are the way we express that thinking." We celebrate the art of problem-solving through coding puzzles, challenging you to unravel complexities with the utmost efficiency in space and time.

HYBRID MODE PRELIMS (Sankalan Day 1)

  • 11:30 AM - Reporting
  • 12:00 Noon - Event begins
  • 1:00 PM - Event Ends

OFFLINE MAINS (Sankalan Day 2)

  • 10:30 AM - Offline Reporting
  • 11:00 AM - Event Begins
  • 12:00 PM - Event Ends


Pool Prize: INR 6,000

  • Eligibility: College/University Students
  • Team Size: Individual for round 1, Group of 2 for round 2; Cross-college teams are allowed.
  • Preliminary Round (Hybrid): This is an eliminating round. This round consist of 3 problems two of easy level and one of medium level in round one.
  • Participants will be given a set of three problems to solve.
  • Time limit: 60 minutes.
  • Top 20 Participants whose code gets executed successfully and has an optimal solution will be given highest preference.
  • Time taken to solve the problems will also be taken into consideration to qualify.
  • Decisions made by the event organizers will be final and binding.
  • Mains Round: (Offline)
  • It is required to report at the Department.
  • Selected participants with the group of one or two persons will be given a set of two problems to solve.
  • This round consists of one of medium level and another of hard level
  • Top Participants whose code gets executed successfully and has an optimal solution will be given highest preference.
  • Participants are required to share their account details through a form for transfer of prize money to winners.
  • Time taken to solve the problems will also be taken into consideration to qualify.
  • Decisions made by the event organizers will be final and binding.
